Cycling Tips

We are delighted to announce that CyclingLab/Join and WorldTour cycling team Intermarché Wanty Gobert have reached an agreement which makes us the team’s official Performance Partner. CylingLab’s coaches will perform the duties of organizing and keeping checks on the training schedules of the Belgian squad from the 2021-season onwards. “We are really excited to step up to UCI WorldTour level. After having worked with several of their top riders individually, we now have the chance to oversee the evolution of a whole WorldTour squad. At Cyclinglab our mission is to train cyclists and we believe that behind great performances there is always a great team. Our trainers will make sure that the Intermarché Wanty Gobert riders receive the best possible support to improve their performance”, highlights CyclingLab’s owner and JOIN founder Jim van den Berg.

Talking about the agreement Frederik Veuchelen, Head Coach at Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert, said: “I am delighted to work with the coaches of CyclingLab, with whom we organize the training camps and the planning of the training regime each year, through careful analysis of the numbers produced by the riders and helping to define the way forward. Thanks to smooth communication and a great understanding between us, we build a coherent strategy both for the short and the long term for the riders, individually as well as collectively. With CyclingLab’s expertise in training, coaching and support, our riders are in very able hands!”.

Intermarché Wanty Gobert will kick off the season on January 31 at the GP Cycliste La Marseillaise before debuting in a stage race a few days later at the Etoile de Bessèges.
