With JOIN as naming partner, TEAM BOMBA JOIN will race a full cyclocross season and line up for selected gravel events in the summer. The sporting core of the project is built around two of the Netherlands’ top riders: Ryan Kamp and Mees Hendrikx, both active in cyclocross and the UCI Gravel World Series.

Why JOIN is backing this team

At JOIN, we believe structured training makes every cyclist better, and we want to support cycling in the broadest sense. Cyclocross is a spectacular discipline with a unique culture and fan experience, and it deserves visibility and growth. That’s why this partnership matters: Mees Henrikx and Ryan Kamp won’t just be “using” JOIN - they’ll be coached directly by JOIN founder Jim van den Berg, guided by JOIN’s training philosophy. It’s a perfect way to show, up close, how smart, structured training can help riders improve.

More than race days: a team you can follow from the inside

TEAM BOMBA JOIN wants to be visibly present at selected cyclocross races with its own accessible team area. No closed VIP setup, but an open environment where supporters and KLAK AF! members can have direct contact with riders and staff.

The full season will be followed via podcasts, video, and social media, from the inside. That way, the team won’t only be visible on race days, but continuously present in the cyclocross world.

Live Slow Ride Fast has followed and told cyclocross stories for years, and now they’re taking the next step by building a team that combines sporting ambition with community and storytelling.
