Group Stats: Progress feels better together

May 6, 2025

Cycling might be a solo sport on the surface, but let’s be real—training gets a whole lot more fun when you share it with others.
That’s why we’ve added something new to the JOIN app: Group Stats.
It’s a simple way to see how your group is doing, check your own progress, and maybe spark a bit of friendly competition.
So, what’s it all about?
Group Stats lives right inside your group’s page. Open it up, and you’ll see things like:
Your group’s average eFTP and Level
The total number of workouts and hours trained together
A leaderboard that updates in real-time—ranking everyone by Level, eFTP, training time, or workout count
Your own spot on the board—always visible, even if you’re not in the top 10
You can also filter everything by the past 7 days, 28 days, or the whole year. That way, it’s easy to see what’s been happening lately—or how far your crew has come this season.
And the best part? You don’t have to do anything extra. Just keep training. Your stats show up automatically.
Why we made this
A lot of people use JOIN to train with friends, clubs, or teams. But until now, there wasn’t much inside the group to keep things going. We wanted to change that.
Group Stats gives everyone a reason to check in, cheer each other on, and see the bigger picture. It’s not about being the best. It’s about showing up, staying connected, and having a little fun along the way.
Some of us like seeing our name climb up the leaderboard. Others just like knowing we’re still in the mix. Both count. Both matter.

What now?
If you’re already in a group, go check it out. Your progress is already there, and so is your place on the board.
Not part of a group yet? Start one with your crew. It could be your club, your colleagues, or that small pack you always ride with. Or jump into a public group and see what others are up to. You never know where the next bit of motivation will come from.
Because riding’s great but riding together? That’s something else entirely.
