Official Rules 10/10 challenge by JOIN with Shimano

1.1.     These terms and conditions apply to the Strava Challenge Promotion “10 / 10 Challenge by JOIN with Shimano” (the “Promotion”). By participating in the Promotion you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

1.2.     The Promotion is organized by JOIN Sports B.V. (“JOIN”), H.J.E. Wenckebachweg 123, 1096 AM Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Promotion is organized in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen 2014). Dutch law is applicable on these terms and conditions.

1.3.     There is no entry fee required to enter the Promotion.

1.4.    The Promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. Central European Time (“CET”) on March 29, 2024 and ends at 6:00 p.m. CET on April 7, 2024. All activities (as explained below) must be logged on Strava by 11:59 p.m. CET on April 10, 2024 (the “Promotion Period”)

2.1.     The promotion is open to persons aged 18 years old. Employees of JOIN Sports, Shimano and its affiliated companies and the immediate family members (spouse, children) and any person directly or indirectly involved in the development or administration of the Promotion, are not eligible to participate or win. Void in all countries embargoed by The Netherlands and where prohibited or restricted by law. All applicable laws and regulations apply.

2.2.     The registration period is open between 22 March and 7 April 2024

2.3.     Registrations received outside this time frame will be excluded from the Promotion. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

3.1.     JOIN will randomly select nineteen (19) winners out of all participants who completed the requirements of the Shimano Strava challenge and entered the competition via the form available on: https://join.cc/10-10-strava-chalenge/. These winners will receive one of the prize packages as outlined in Article 4.

3.2.     The random selection of the winners will take place within one month after the completion. The winner will be notified by email in the same week.

3.3.     If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days after being contacted by JOIN, the winner is deemed to have rejected the prize and shall no longer be eligible to receive the prize. JOIN shall be entitled to select a new winner.

3.4.     JOIN reserves the right to withhold one or more prizes if, in accordance with the conditions in paragraph 3, no winner can be appointed within one month after the end date of the promotion.

4.1.     The winners can win the following prizes:

3x  Shimano S-phyre Road Shoe ) + 3x 12 Months JOIN Cycling-app subscription
5x Lazer Z1 Helmet  + 5x 6 Months JOIN Cycling-app subscription
10x Shimano S-phyre Sunglasses + 10x 3 Months JOIN Cycling-app subscription

Overall winner: 1x Entry for a UCI gravel world series qualifier + 1x 10-year subscription to the JOIN Cycling-app

4.2.     All prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash or other prizes.

4.3.     The prize winner shall be responsible for paying taxes, if any.

4.4      In order to enter a chance to win any of the prizes listed under paragraph 4.1, entrants must have completed the Challenge and must enter their email address into the reward form to receive the JOIN.cc email newsletter and the Shimano newsletter, thereby accepting the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy from JOIN and the Shimano Privacy Policy. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any point thereafter.

5.1.     Any personal information that participants provide in connection with the Promotion shall be used by JOIN and Shimano, to administer this Competition, contact participants, and for the other purposes set forth in the Privacy Policies located at https://join.cc/privacy-policy/  and http://www.shimano.com/en/privacypolicy.html. By entering this Promotion, you agree to and accept those Privacy Policies.

5.2.     Participants accept that JOIN will verify with Strava whether they fulfilled the requirements of the Promotion.

6.1.     JOIN does not accept any liability regarding any damages, of any kind, arising out or related to (participation in) the Promotion.

6.2.     In case of any situation of force majeure JOIN reserves the right to withhold the prizes. JOIN is not obliged to hand out an alternative prize.

6.3.     Unless the contexts otherwise demands, words importing any gender shall be interpreted to mean any or all genders.

6.4.     Contact details submitted by the participants in order to register for the Promotion will only be used in relation to the Promotion.
